This year's graduates with a bachelor's degree from Azerbaijan University will receive a 10 percent discount on tuition fees during their studies if they are admitted to the university's master's degree programs and specializations.
Two new specializations have been added to the university's master's degree admission plan. These are the specializations of mathematical and information support of economic activity with the ancient and medieval history of Azerbaijan. In general, for the 2020/2021 academic year, admission is held in 9 specialties (programs 14, 26, 38, 39, 42, 46, 56) and 20 specializations.
Admission of students to the master's level of Azerbaijan University is carried out by the State Examination Center (SEC) through a competition based on the results obtained by bachelors in the entrance exam for the relevant academic year. Admission to all specializations, except for MBA at the master's level, is possible on the basis of the state order (at the expense of the state budget).
Students admitted on a paid basis also receive scholarships from the state budget starting from the second semester. The amount of scholarships is 80, 120, 145 manats, depending on the student's academic performance and is re-evaluated at the end of each semester.
Azerbaijan University also offers an international double degree program for bachelors in computer science and computer engineering at the master's level. The international double degree program is implemented jointly with the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics of Ukraine. The university is ranked in the top 5 in Europe in the field of cyber security and information technology.
