Suscription date of the book “Start! If you are young” was held today in “ASAN Kommunal” center No.2 by the organizational support of Azerbaijan University, “Yarat Friends”, “Azerbaijan Railways” Closed Joint-Stock Company and ASAN volunteers. The book by assistant professor Nadir Adilov has been published by the resolution of the Academic Council of Azerbaijan University.
The author making a speech in the event has noted that, the book has gained a popularity among readers and will support the development of students and youths very soon: “The book dealt with all issues necessary for a young man. Book language is very easy, students actively participated in this process as a critical assistant and expressed their views”. It was noted in the event that, the book deals with the leisure time arrangement, new employments, career start, arts and other issues for young people. In a word, young people will be able to find out how to get started with actions that will help them to develop their personal development. The resources gained from the sale of the book “Start! If you are young” will be directed to the “Voluntary” Student Scholarship Program at the author’s own initiative.
Vice president of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev stressed the importance of being volunteered for the effective spending of leisure times by young people. He said that volunteering has been expanded among young people in recent years, with only about 15,000 young people being united in the "ASAN Volunteers" organization. The vice president stated that the book “Start! If you are young” will be very useful for volunteer students.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee of the National Assembly Fuad Muradov, Director of the Public Relations Department of the Contemporary Art Space of YARAT Hokume Karimova and other speakers in the “Subscription date” talked about the importance of the book for young people who want to spend their leisure time effectively.
