Nushaba Guliyeva, Counselor of the rector of Azerbaijan University, PhD in History and Samira Mammadova, Head of Foreign Languages Department, PhD in Philology are the participants of World Innovation Summit for Education -2017” (WISE) in Doha, Qatar which has started today.
It is the eighth time that the event considered as the top-level international conference for the future of education and defined this year's theme as "Co-exist, Co-create: Learning to Live and Work Together" has been held since 2009.
More than 2,000 delegates from 100 countries are participating in the Summit to share their visions for co-designing the future of education. WISE - 2017, which brings together the most creative leaders and entrepreneurs of the world in the fields of education, technology, politics, social entrepreneurship, business, media, etc. will address the following topics:
- What should be the role of education in fostering social change? How should we rethink and reorganize the way we deliver learning in an age of disruption and uncertainty?
- How do we harness the power of science and technology to improve outcomes not just in learning but in overall well-being?
- How do we foster global citizenship in an increasingly hostile environment that may no longer favor international collaboration?
