The international conference concluded its work with the closing ceremony

The International Scientific Conference on " Sustainable Development and Actual Problems of Humanitarian Sciences - 2018" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev has ended with the closing ceremony at Azerbaijan University.

Speaking at the ceremony, plenary speaker of the conference, Professor of Anadolu University Bulent Achma noted that he was delighted to be in Azerbaijan and at the conference host university - Azerbaijan University and highly appreciated the work of the event.

Prof. Yusif Gasimov, Vice-rector on Scientific Affairs of the University, made a report on the work of the conference and the issues discussed in the sections. The vice-rector noted that scholars and researchers from around 15 countries, extending from Brazil to Kyrgyzstan, presented articles, and scientists from about 10 countries actually participated. Out of 232 submitted articles, 167 articles have been reported and this figure is an indicator of the high level of the conference. Yusif Gasimov thanked the members of the Scientific Committee for the international event and the sector heads for their effective activities.

The rector of the University Saadat Aliyeva made a closing speech. The rector noted that the two-day international event successfully has completed its work and has achieved its goals. Saadat Aliyeva said: "The conference has really become a scientific discussion scene. The speeches delivered in the plenary reports and sectional meetings put forth very interesting and grave scientific researches, conclusions and problems". The rector thanked the plenary speakers, conference participants, the Organizing Committee and members of the Student Youth Organization of the University.

The sector heads were awarded with certificates at the end.

The participants listened to the speech of Yuri Goryachev, Professor of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, at the UNESCO UNITWIN Chair Program on Sustainable Development Agenda at the plenary session of the conference held in the morning.

Note that scientists from 10 countries have been represented at the international scientific committee of the conference. The presented materials were published in bulk and submitted to the participants during the registration.

The conference partners are Cambridge International Academics (England), Liepaja University (Latvia) and Synergy Group.
