The admission of foreign citizens to doctoral programs at Azerbaijan University is carried out on a competitive basis. Candidates are to forward a personal registration card, biography, 4 photographs (3x4), job description, extract from employment record book, list of published scientific works or a reference for the chosen specialty, written consent of the scientific leader, duly certified copy of diploma on graduation from a university (certificate of recognition of education documents for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan studying abroad), copy of passport to the university by mail or email. All documents are to be submitted in English.
Applicants must submit the above mentioned documents upon arrival at the Azerbaijan University. Candidates will be informed of the outcome of the application by post.
Short description of the study programme
It contains theoretical content of the preparation of highly qualified specialist in Azerbaijan literature and a systematic set of knowledge, skills and habits that will be required for future research and pedagogical activities. The modern socio-cultural situation requires a high degree of professionalism from the philologist. From this point of view, the specialty of Azerbaijani literature, designed to earn a doctorate in philosophy, serves to determine the theoretical and practical training of the researcher. At the same time, pedagogical activity in the relevant field of higher education institutions, the ability to organize students' scientific creativity, the skills of planning and execution of scientific research projects, collective research, the formation of modern scientific paradigm, the ability to integrate and actualize research.
