Azerbaijan University is a full-fledged member of the European University Association (EUA), a platform that unites leading European universities. EUA membership provides the university with ample opportunities to benefit from both the organization's and Europe's leading expertise in higher education, science and innovation. Joining the platform also serves the goals of increasing the university's competitiveness, bringing the content and quality indicators of education to the level of international standards, establishing new international collaborations, and participating in the activities of prestigious organizations of the world.

It should be noted that EUA is the largest association of European universities. The main mission of the association, which represents more than 800 universities in 48 European countries, is to continuously develop and strengthen the higher education and research system in Europe; to enhance quality in teaching, learning, research and community service by providing support and guidance to members.
