A training seminar for doctoral candidates and dissertation researchers, organized by the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies, was held at Azerbaijan University. During the event, Head of the Science Department, PhD in Mathematics Latifa Agamaliyeva, delivered presentations on “Requirements for preparing scientific articles for indexed journals” and “Journal selection and the article submission process”.

Latifa Agamaliyeva’s presentation covered the types and structure of scientific articles, title selection, preparation and significance of abstracts, the choice and relevance of keywords, key considerations in coordinating and writing the introduction, main body, and conclusion, as well as bibliography preparation and related topics. Presentation also explained the requirements and standards for preparing scientific articles for indexed journals and outlined the principles of selecting appropriate journals for publication.

Director of the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies Nushaba Guliyeva also attended the event and answered questions from doctoral candidates and dissertation researchers on the discussed topics.

The training seminar continued with interactive discussions related to the subject matter.
