As part of the memorandum of understanding signed between Azerbaijan University and the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Issues, a meeting was held between the leadership and academic staff of the University’s Department of Social Work Organization and representatives of the National Observatory.

With the aim of strengthening ties between higher education institutions and the labor market, the meeting addressed several key topics, including the alignment of academic programs with labor market demands, the more effective organization of classes and extracurricular activities to enhance students’ theoretical and practical knowledge, and the cultivation of student interest in research activities through supportive mechanisms. The discussions also focused on the development of highly qualified and competitive professionals who meet current labor market standards. Other significant points included the improvement of course content in relevant specialized subjects and the implementation of innovative teaching approaches.

It is worth noting that the meeting, which holds considerable importance for the advancement of mutual cooperation, also resulted in the identification of new, promising areas for future joint projects and initiatives.
