A training on the topic “Key documents of education: the essence of the educational program and syllabus” was held for a group of students jointly organized by the Lifelong Education Support: Training and Education Center and the Quality Assurance Department of Azerbaijan University. Active members of the University’s Student Youth Organization, Student Scientific Society, and the “Quality Ambassadors” Club participated in the training.

The training provided participants with detailed information on aligning academic programs with labor market requirements, the competencies included in the program, program learning outcomes, and course learning outcomes of the specialities. The essence and structure of the syllabus developed on the basis of the academic program were also explained, along with the proper use of the syllabus in the educational process.

The training, marked by engaging discussions, was delivered by Lala Abasova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, and Samir Salayev, Head of the Training and Education Center and a professional trainer.

The training continued with the Q&A session on the topic.

It should be noted that the Training and Education Center and the Quality Assurance Department of Azerbaijan University plan to organize a series of training modules on various topics for academic staff and students throughout the current academic year.
