A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan University and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The document was signed by the Rector of Azerbaijan University, PhD in Philology Saadat Aliyeva, and the Rector of ASOIU, Assoc. Prof. Rufat Azizov. The MoU was signed within the framework of the 28th Republican Scientific Conference of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (NASCO XXVIII).

The purpose of the Memorandum is to establish and strengthen cooperation between the parties in the fields of education, scientific research, and human resource development. The document provides for the exchange of professors and academic staff, the organization of joint conferences and symposiums, the delivery of short-term courses, the implementation of joint research and lifelong learning programs, the exchange of information on innovative teaching and management methods, as well as mutual cooperation in professional development and qualifications of specialists.

Rectors Saadat Aliyeva and Rufat Azizov, along with the heads of higher education institutions attending the conference as guests, visited the research laboratories and computer classrooms of UFAZ, operating under the auspices of Azerbaijan University and ASOIU. The guests were provided with detailed information on ASOIU’s scientific infrastructure, innovative laboratories, and ongoing research activities.
