Academic advisors of Azerbaijan University - Aysel Hamidova, Elzada Sadigova, and Asmar Nusratli - participated in the training entitled “Awareness of student educational loans and professional capacity building”, organised by the Student Educational Loan Fund (SELF).

The main objective of the training was to explain the functionality of the ttkf.edu.az portal, eliminate potential difficulties in its use, strengthen the theoretical and practical preparation of responsible personnel, and enhance their skills in using the system more effectively.

The four-day event provided extensive information on the Fund’s four-year activities, implemented projects, the scope of the loan mechanism, portal usage rules, application registration and management, requirements to be considered during the processing stage, as well as methods for promptly resolving technical issues, increasing the efficiency of the registration process, ensuring the fast and accurate entry of grade point averages (GPA) into the system, and maintaining data accuracy.

It was noted that identifying successful students who have benefited from student loans and preparing and presenting their success stories in education and career development to the public make a significant contribution both to the transparent promotion of the loan mechanism and to the awareness of other young people.

At the end of the event, certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the training. It was also noted that similar meetings are planned to be held regularly in the future in order to strengthen cooperation with educational institutions and enhance the professional capacity of portal staff.

It should be noted that 108 designated representatives from higher, secondary, specialised, and vocational educational institutions participated in the programme via the e-ttkf.edu.az portal.
