New practice in the history of Azerbaijan University
Azerbaijan University is sending its first student abroad as part of an international dual degree master’s program launched under the agreement signed with the University of Tuscia in Italy. Today, Rector of the University, PhD in Philology Saadat Aliyeva, welcomed Ravan Idrisli, a second-year master’s student who fulfilled all the requirements and was admitted to the program. During the meeting, the discussion focused on the academic environment and conditions created for students at the University, as well as the significance and benefits of internationalization and dual degree initiatives.
Congratulating Ravan Idrisli on becoming the University’s first dual degree program participant, the Rector encouraged him to take his studies seriously and wished him great success in his academic journey. Saadat Aliyeva expressed confidence that Ravan Idrisli would represent Azerbaijani youth and the nation’s spiritual and cultural values with dignity in Europe, fulfilling this moral duty with great responsibility.
In turn, Ravan Idrisli expressed his excitement about the opportunity given and shared his expectations regarding the program. He noted that he is well-informed about the relevant regulations and procedures, and that all aspects were thoroughly explained by the Department of International Relations as well as the Center for International Master's and Doctoral Studies, and extended his gratitude to the Rector for the support and opportunities provided.
It should be noted that under the agreement signed between Azerbaijan University and the University of Tuscia in Italy, an international dual degree MBA program in the field of Marketing is being implemented. Upon successful completion of their studies, students will be awarded a master’s degree in the relevant field and receive diplomas from both higher education institutions.
