Azerbaijan University recently held its traditional Career Day, aimed at supporting students as they embark on their professional journeys. Organized by the University’s Career Development Department, the event provided students with insights into the demands of today’s job market and offered direct networking opportunities with employers.

Approximately 40 companies and organizations from various sectors participated in the event, including government agencies, private enterprises, and educational institutions. Employers presented their current job openings as well as internship and scholarship programs available to students.

The University Rector, PhD in Philology Saadat Aliyeva, visited the stands to review the vacancies offered to students, engage in conversations with representatives of the participating organizations and companies, and exchange views.

Company and organization representatives, including HR managers, accepted CVs and application forms from students, provided valuable advice on different stages of the recruitment process, shared effective application and interview preparation techniques, and answered their questions.

It is worth noting that this year marked the ninth edition of the annual Career Day, which has become an important platform facilitating the integration of students and graduates into the real labor market.
