New specialization introduced in the master’s program at Azerbaijan University
The admission plan for the master’s and MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs at Azerbaijan University for the 2025/2026 academic year has been approved. According to this plan, admissions will be carried out across 10 fields and 19 specializations within the master’s program, and 4 specializations within the MBA program. A total of 213 students are expected to be admitted, including 173 seats allocated to the Azerbaijani-medium section and 40 to the English-medium section.
A new specialization has also been added to the admission plan for the upcoming academic year. Starting this year, applications will be accepted for the “Educational Psychology” specialization.
Additionally, updates have been introduced in the admission rules. From this year on, the duration of studies for the “Banking” and “Youth Work” specializations will be 1.5 years. Since these specializations do not require a master’s thesis defense, graduates will not be eligible to pursue doctoral studies.
The English-medium Marketing MBA program will be implemented as part of a dual degree program in collaboration with Tuscia University (Italy). Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded a master's degree in the relevant field and receive diplomas from both universities.
