Azerbaijan University faculty participated in conference held at the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev
Asif Pashayev, dean of the Faculty of ICT of Azerbaijan University, lecturers of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Bahram Azizov, Sadagat Hasanova, Dunya Muradova, Lala Rashidova, laboratory assistant Aytan Alakbarli, 2nd year student of Computer Engineering Ibrahim Huseynzade participated in the Republican scientific - practical conference “Development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan: potential opportunities and new challenges” held at the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev. The event was dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The conference, which brought together representatives from nearly 35 universities and research institutions, was organized into five thematic sections. Employees of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science made reports in various sections of the Conference. A co-authored presentation by Bahram Azizov, Sadagat Hasanova, and Aytan Alakbarli explored the topic “Calculation of key parameters in projectile trajectories and explosion impact areas upon landing”, while Lala Rashidova’s report focused on “The role of information technologies in modern warfare”. The scientific paper co-authored by Dunya Muradova and Ibrahim Huseynzada, titled “Application and advantages of blockchain technologies in education: Addressing security challenges through blockchain”, attracted significant interest from conference participants. The second report of the 2nd year student of Computer Engineering specialty Ibrahim Huseynzada was on “The application of simulation processes in the military”.
The main goal of the two-day event was to examine various directions and dynamics of the development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as laid out by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the scientific and theoretical foundations of new approaches and perspectives in army building aligned with the requirements set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
