The Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Azerbaijan University, Doctor of Mathematics Yusif Gasimov, along with the Head of the Science Department, PhD in Mathematics Latifa Agamaliyeva, delivered presentations at an online seminar titled “Enhancing Researchers’ Knowledge and Skills in Academic Writing and Publishing Articles in Agricultural Scientific Journals.” The event was organized by the Agricultural Research Center (ARC) under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the seminar, the University representatives presented on key topics such as “Requirements for Scientific Articles in Indexed Journals,” “Journal Selection and Article Submission Process,” and “Creating Author Profiles on Academic Platforms and Effectively Using Academic Social Networks.” Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared views on the presented subjects.

It is worth noting that the primary aim of the seminar was to strengthen participants’ competencies in publishing scientific articles in prestigious international journals. Attendees included representatives from universities, research institutes, and other related organizations.

The online seminar, held from March 10 to 14, attracted around 100 participants, including academic staff from research institutes and subordinate bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as researchers, doctoral students, and dissertation candidates from various scientific and educational institutions. The event was also livestreamed on the Center’s official Facebook page, where it garnered considerable interest — with approximately 500 users joining the session.
