November 17 - International Students’ Day was celebrated with a book campaign at Azerbaijan University. Within the framework of the campaign, a book was presented by the teachers to the students who are active in the social life of the university.

The students were also informed about the history and establishment of this day in the classes. It was noted that the International Students' Day has been celebrated since 1946 to commemorate the execution of students exposed to the brutality of the fascist armies and to eternalize their memories in the Czech Republic in 1939. 

Teachers congratulated the students on  the occasion of this special day and wished them success.
