The Department of Foreign Languages at Azerbaijan University continues its series of academic writing skills development trainings. The next session, focused on the topic “Cause and Effect,” was conducted by department lecturer Aynur Hasanova.

At the event held in an interactive format, Aynur Hasanova provided a detailed overview of the topic's nature, the structure of written assignments, writing conventions, and evaluation criteria. During the training, real-life examples were discussed, and participants completed practical exercises based on the theoretical knowledge they had acquired.

It is worth noting that, along with the faculty from the Foreign Languages Department, lecturers from the Departments of Translation and Philology also took an active part in the training. These sessions are aimed at enhancing writing assessment skills in lecturers, ensuring the application of unified academic standards, and are scheduled to continue until the end of the academic year.
