The 4th session of the “Diplomatic Table” simulation project took place

The 4th session of the “Diplomatic Table” simulation project, organized in a championship format by the Young Diplomats Club operating under the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Azerbaijan University, has taken place. This session focused on USA-Iran relations, one of the most pressing topics in global politics.

Three main topics were discussed at the event. The first stage featured discussions on “Prospects for reaching a nuclear agreement”, the second stage explored “Iran’s involvement in political processes in the Middle East and the crisis in the Bab-el-Mandeb strait” and the third stage examined “New dynamics in the development of USA-Iran relations”.

It is worth noting that the debates held within the framework of the project play a significant role in developing students’ analytical thinking, argumentation skills, political analysis abilities, and public speaking competence. The Diplomatic Table simulation serves as an effective platform for the University students interested in diplomacy and international relations.
