A masterclass titled “Effective and targeted use of public funds, sustainable development, and green governance” was held for students at Azerbaijan University, conducted by Gunel Safaraliyeva, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

Attending the session were students majoring in State and Public Relations, along with assoc. Prof. Elvin Talyshinski, Head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, and senior lecturer of the department Aybaniz Guliyeva.

During the masterclass, students were introduced to key topics such as the main pillars of sustainable development, the role of the state in this process, and modern governance approaches, including monitoring, digitalization, and transparency. The subject was addressed from both theoretical and practical perspectives, supported by examples drawn from international and local practice.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants shared their insights and suggestions on the topic.

It is worth noting that the masterclass was part of the project “Diplomacy through the eyes of youth”, jointly organized by the Student Youth Organization and the Young Diplomats Club. The project is being implemented by the Young Diplomats Club, operating under the Department of Political and Social Sciences.
