Under the guidance of Ogtay Ismayil, a lecturer at the Department of Translation and Philology of Azerbaijan University, an extracurricular session on “Language and Translation” was organized for second-year students majoring in Translation (English) at the iLanguage Academy Language Center.

During the session, students were thoroughly introduced to the Center's activities and provided with detailed information about the stages, methods, and principles of language learning in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), as well as about international language certification exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo, and the preparation processes for these exams.

In addition, the lesson covered reliable sources for language learning, recommended textbooks and study materials, and introduced students to effective methods of self-directed learning.

The session concluded with the presentation of educational video materials and practical recommendations aimed at strengthening the students' knowledge in the fields of language and translation.
