The “Quality Ambassadors” Club held its first meeting and officially began its activities

The first meeting of the “Quality Ambassadors” Club, established under the Quality Assurance Department of Azerbaijan University, was held. During the meeting, the draft charter and action plan of the Club were discussed, and views were exchanged on the agenda items.

Engaging and productive discussions primarily focused on the organization of interactive and student-centered learning; the application of a quality-oriented approach in lecturer–student relations; the development of students’ skills in line with labor market requirements; strengthening a culture of sustainable development at the University; conducting anonymous surveys on various topics and analyzing their results; implementing collaborative projects with other student clubs and organizations operating at the University; collecting and analyzing student feedback on teaching methods of lecturers; establishing an effective communication bridge between students and the University administration; and other related issues.

During the meeting, the head of the Quality Assurance Department, Lala Abbasova, along with Department staff, listened to the views of the Club members and stated that their opinions and initiatives would be taken into account in the preparation of the action plan. It was emphasized that Club members can make a valuable contribution to the formation of a high-quality, transparent, and student-oriented educational environment at the University, and it was noted that training sessions for Club members are planned for this purpose.

At the end of the meeting, the Club’s charter and official logo were approved, and its official activities were formally launched.

It should be noted that the main purpose of establishing the Club is to ensure the active involvement of students in shaping a culture of quality in higher education and to integrate their perspectives and initiatives into the University’s development strategy.
