A meeting was held between Nigar Shahhuseynbayova, head of the Department of Social Work Organization at Azerbaijan University, Zeynab Babayeva, a specialist from the Faculty of Education, and Shahla Aliyeva, head of the “Oykos” Development Center. During the meeting, the parties engaged in an extensive exchange of views on the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan University and the “Oykos” Development Center, student development initiatives, and potential areas of partnership.

The discussions primarily focused on organizing internships for Azerbaijan University students, familiarizing them with real working environments, and enhancing their practical skills. Opportunities for conducting practical sessions, observation programs, and on-site mentoring at the “Oykos” Development Center were also considered.

Particular emphasis was placed on expanding career opportunities, facilitating graduates adaptation to the labor market, and workforce training in response to the growing demand in the field of social services. The meeting also addressed potential cooperation in training specialists with strong practical skills who can meet labor market challenges, developing new competencies in social work, and involving students in real social service delivery processes.

Held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue, the meeting concluded with an agreement to put forward concrete initiatives for future cooperation.
