Saadat Aliyeva, Rector of Azerbaijan University and PhD in Philology, took part in the official reception and banquet held in Baku to mark the birthday of King Charles III of the United Kingdom. The event was organized by the British Embassy in Azerbaijan. The reception and banquet were attended by Azerbaijani government officials, members of the Milli Majlis, prominent figures from the intellectual and socio-political spheres, as well as media representatives.

In his address at the event, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld highlighted the expanding cooperation between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan in recent times and noted that bilateral relations had been marked by several significant developments over the past year. The ambassador also drew attention to the strengthening of ties in the field of education, emphasizing that the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan are sincere partners and expressing confidence that this partnership will be long-lasting.
