The scientific journal “Social Issues”, published by Azerbaijan University, has been included by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the list of “Periodical Scientific Publications Recommended for the Publication of Articles in the Republic of Azerbaijan” in the fields of philosophy and sociology.

Founded in 2023, the journal “Social Issues” has published 10 issues to date, including two special issues. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Stefan Cojocaru, a prominent scholar in the field of social sciences and Prof. at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (Romania). The journal’s editorial board comprises well-known scholars from various countries around the world.

Notably, since the publication of its first issue, the journal has attracted the attention of the international academic community. As a result, different issues of the journal have featured articles by scholars representing the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Oman, Italy, Egypt, India, the United States, Romania, Japan, Indonesia, Russia, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Peru, and other countries.
