A webinar titled “Developing a Research Plan” was conducted for master students of Azerbaijan University by Tamella Abdiyeva, a doctoral candidate under a state-funded program. The webinar was organized by the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies with the aim of addressing the challenges faced by young researchers during the preparation of academic research and supporting the development of their research skills.

During the webinar, master students were provided with a detailed explanation of the structure and stages involved in developing a research plan. Participants received guidance on selecting an appropriate research topic, justifying the relevance of the study, and formulating research questions. The webinar also focused on systematizing the literature review and identifying research gaps, research methodology, adherence to ethical standards, preparation of timelines and budgets, as well as the proper formatting of references.
