The professional internship for final-year students majoring in Organization of Tourism Work at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Azerbaijan University, is currently ongoing. The students are completing their internship at the “Planet Travel” agency under the supervision of Gulana Isayeva, a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting.

On the first day of the internship, students received detailed information about the company’s goals, operations, and structure. They were also briefed on labor relations, employee rights, and responsibilities.

Throughout the internship, students are gaining practical experience in informing clients about available travel products, processing and analyzing customer inquiries, and identifying client needs. They are also assigned hands-on tasks such as preparing presentations on tourism products, providing product information to clients in person or over the phone, selling travel services, registering tour packages, drafting contracts, offering guided support services, and preparing reports.

It is worth noting that the internship in Organization of Tourism Work is scheduled to conclude on May 24, 2025.
