Azerbaijan University was represented at the final stage of the “GreenTech 2” Startup and Green Technologies competition, held at Azerbaijan Technological University, with its “AgroTech” Project. The University team included Namat Nagiyev and Fidan Abbaszade, students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies, and Gulzaman Aliyeva, a student from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The team was mentored by assoc. prof. Rashad Mastaliyev, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

The competition was organized by Azerbaijan Technological University as part of the University’s 55th anniversary celebrations, with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

The event brought together 80 teams from 30 higher education institutions across the country, competing for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and incentive places in four categories: “Digital Ecology,” “Robotics,” “Green Transport Technologies,” and “Social Innovation for Sustainable Development”.

Winning teams were awarded certificates and prizes.
