A favorable scientific research environment has been created for undergraduate students at Azerbaijan University, and work is underway to involve them in scientific research, which is an important component of the educational process. Student scientific societies on faculties operate at the University, students carry out scientific research work under the guidance of employees of the department, lecturers with academic degrees, participate in conferences, various types of scientific events.  

As a result of these efforts, Students of the Faculty of business and economics Shahriyar Garibov and Mahammad Ashurov attended The 2nd International Turkic World Congress on Humanities, Social, Educational and Finance Conference held on June 6-8, 2024 with a report. Shahriyar Garibov, a 2nd-year student majoring in International trade and logistics presented his report on “Dynamics of freight transportation in Azerbaijan”, and Mahammad Ashurov, a 2nd-year student majoring in “Tourism Business Organization”, presented his report on “Issues of attracting foreign tourists to Maiden Tower and Shirvanshah Palace”. 

The scientific research works prepared by students, guided by their lecturers were published in the collection of congress materials.
