The State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance conducted an info session for the academic-administrative staff and students of Azerbaijan University. The session featured a presentation by Sevil Aliyeva, a representative of the Agency.

In her remarks, Sevil Aliyeva noted that the Agency regularly conducts activities aimed at promoting mandatory health insurance and raising public awareness in this field. She emphasized that the purpose of the mandatory health insurance system is to ensure access to medical services and reduce the financial burden of healthcare expenses on the population. Currently, the mandatory health insurance service package includes 3,315 medical services.

During the presentation, the Agency representative provided detailed information on the procedures for accessing mandatory health insurance, insurance contributions, the process of receiving medical services under the MHI system, services covered by the MHI benefits package, the electronic search system for the service package, medical services subject to limits, medications provided within the package, access to medical services in private healthcare facilities under the MHI, and the list of private medical institutions contracted by the Agency.

The session concluded with a Q&A, where participants received answers to their questions.
