Azad Mammadov, professor of the Foreign Languages Department of Azerbaijan University, attended the International Conference on “II Cultural Linguistics” held on July 23-26 at Koblenz University in Germany.

Professor Azad Mammadov delivered a report titled "On the Linguistic Challenge Facing Globalization Discourse: The changing role of the English language in modern world” at the sectional meeting of the international event.

The report, which was welcomed by the participants, highlighted the impact of political processes in the modern world on the current global status of English and the future fate of this status of the English language.
