Grazyna Paliwoda-Pekosz, associate professor of Faculty of Management and Quality Studies at Krakow University of Economics, Poland, joined the educational process at Azerbaijan University within the framework of the cooperation agreement.

Grazyna Paliwoda-Pekosz got acquainted with the University on the first day of the academic program. Head of the International Relations Department Elmira Ismayilova, dean of the Faculty of ICT Asif Pashayev, head of the Department of Economics and Management Tural Gojayev attended the introductory meeting. Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the event.

Following the meeting, the Polish guest delivered a lecture on “Metaheuristic Methods in Solving Management Problems” for the students of the Faculty of Business and Economics majoring in Marketing and Economics in English.

On the second day of the academic program, she delivered a lecture to the students of the Faculty of ICT. The lecture was on “Graph optimization”.

It should be noted that Grazyna Paliwoda - Pekosz will give lectures to students of both the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Faculty of ICT as part of the week-long program.
