The Education and Training Center and the Quality Assurance Department at Azerbaijan University organized training sessions for students on the topic “The Essence of Curriculum and Study Programs”. A total of 650 students across all faculties participated in the sessions.

During the sessions, detailed explanations were provided regarding the core structure of specialties curricula, embedded competencies, Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), Subject Learning Outcomes (SLOs) for specific majors, the framework of syllabi developed on the basis of degree curricula, and guidelines for their proper application. Conducted by Samir Salayev, Head of the Center, the sessions were accompanied by engaging group discussions.

It should be noted that training sessions on “The Essence of Curriculum and Study Programs” are planned to be conducted continuously throughout the upcoming academic year, with the aim of encompassing all students.
