Certificates awarded to active members of the Student Scientific Society
Certificates were awarded to students who actively participated in the discussion on “Analysis of “The Economist’s” journal cover page: Global Economic and Cultural Contexts”, organized by the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Business and Economics. The certificates were presented by the Dean of the Faculty, Tural Godjaev.
During the discussion, third-year students from the English-medium program of the Faculty of Business and Economics Aytan Aslanova (Accounting), Gulnara Suleymanova (Marketing), Narmin Abdullayeva (Marketing), Aysel Musayeva (Accounting), and Fakhri Mammadli (Business Management) presented analyses of the 2026 cover of The Economist, examining its symbols in the context of global economic processes, geopolitical developments, and cultural factors.
The event also included information on U.S. Congressional Amendment 907, adopted in 1992 under the Freedom Support Act, which prohibits direct U.S. government assistance to Azerbaijan, along with its current status. A video recording of the meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump, was also presented.
