An awareness-raising info session regarding the “ASAN application” information system was held at Azerbaijan University. During the event, it was noted that the “ASAN application” information system, established pursuant to a relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ensures the prompt referral of public appeals regarding utility, road, and transport issues, routine repairs, landscaping, and infrastructure cleanliness to the relevant state bodies by pinning them on an electronic map and tracking the resolution status through the system. According to the said decree, the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan established the system and launched a mobile application to organize, manage, and continuously enhance the operations of the “ASAN application” information system.

At the event, Vusal Hasanov and Saida Bayramova, staff members of the “ASAN application” engagement department, provided instructions on using the mobile application and invited students to take an active role as users. They highlighted that a total of 100 institutions across the country have been integrated into the system to date. Currently, the “ASAN application” mobile application has been downloaded by over 80,000 citizens, with more than 20,000 appeals submitted through the system.
