The Social Work degree program at Azerbaijan University has successfully passed international accreditation at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The accreditation is valid for the next 5 years and confirms the program’s compliance with international quality standards, as well as its competitiveness.

The program accreditation was conducted by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), one of the leading international organizations in educational quality assurance, and the accreditation certificate was officially presented to the University leadership.

A delegation from the Agency’s International Expert Commission conducted an on-site inspection at the University to evaluate the quality of the Social Work academic program. An on-site assessment was conducted covering the implementation of the curriculum, organization of the educational process, operations of the Department and dean’s office, as well as the work of the University’s structural units against the requirements, regulations, and criteria established for accreditation, resulting in a positive outcome for the accreditation application.

It should be noted that the master’s programme in Social Work at Azerbaijan University is offered in two specializations: “Social work in various life spheres” and “Youth work”.
