Students of Azerbaijan University participated in the semifinal of the 48th ICPC NERC-the students International Collegiate Programming Contest and the South Caucasus Open Championship.

Azerbaijan University was represented in international competitions by a team consisting of Ulvi Sadığzade (Information Technologies), Yunis Badalov (Information Security) and Eyvaz Bayramov (Computer Engineering), the students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies.

In the individual competition, Ulvi Sadigzade was awarded the highest achievement certificate, Eyvaz Bayramov was awarded the certificate of distinction, and our team was awarded the certificate of distinction.

20 teams (with 3 students and a team leader in each team) from 15 higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan participated in the events held in Kutaisi from December 11 to 16.
