An educational info session on the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) was held for students of the Faculty of ICT of Azerbaijan University.

Opening the event, the dean of the Faculty of ICT Asif Pashayev emphasized the importance of participation in such competitions in increasing students knowledge and skills, and brought to the attention the achievements of Azerbaijan University students in local and international competitions.

Then Farid Ahmadov, consultant of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, informed the students about the Olympiad. Lala Gurbanova, WRO Coordinator of the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA), and Fadaya Valiyeva, WRO representative, highlighted the conditions for participating in the Olympiad and the main points related to its organization.

The session concluded with detailed responses to the students questions of interest.
