A final meeting was held with participating students to mark the completion of the internship program jointly organized by Azerbaijan University and Ulduz magazine. The meeting took place at the Center for Literary Translation and Relations of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers. The event was attended by Asad Jahangir, Head of the Center; Gulu Aghsas, Editor-in-Chief of Ulduz magazine; Sabir Rustamkhanli, People’s Poet of Azerbaijan; and prominent literary figures from Nakhchivan.

During the event, Asad Jahangir and Gulu Aghsas exchanged views with the students on the knowledge and skills they had acquired during the internship, the specific aspects of editorial work, and the opportunities and challenges facing young authors in the contemporary literary environment, while also listening to their feedback. People’s Poet Sabir Rustamkhanli offered his recommendations to the students on the vital role of continuous reading in creative writing, commitment to the language and national literary traditions, authorial responsibility, and artistic exploration, wishing them success in their future pursuits.

It should be noted that this initiative, now in its 4th consecutive year, aims to support the professional preparation of students majoring in Philology (Azerbaijani Language and Literature; English Language and Literature). Throughout the internship, students gain firsthand experience in publishing operations and contemporary literary processes while participating in meetings with renowned writers and poets, literary discussions, and various cultural events.
