The Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at Azerbaijan University, Asif Pashayev, the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Rashad Mastaliyev, and third-year Information Technology student, Vahab Poladzade, conducted training sessions for pupils in the Jabrayil settlement located in the Bilasuvar district. 

The training, organized in collaboration with the youth and sports, educational sectors of Jabrayil district and Azerbaijan University, at Boyuk-Marjanli village secondary school named after Ismayil Guliyev, was dedicated to the topic: “Cybersecurity in Internet Media.” 

Opening the event, Emil Mastaliyev, the Head of the Sector of the Eastern Zangezur Regional Youth and Sports Administration, provided information about Azerbaijan University and emphasized the significance of the topic. 

During the training, pupils were informed about the main risks associated with internet media security, safety strategies and solutions, digital attacks, methods for identifying phishing attempts, as well as the future of the internet and cybersecurity. The topics were illustrated with practical examples. 

At the end of the training, participants’ questions were addressed.
