Adviser to the Rector of the University of Azerbaijan, Director of the Center for International Masters and Doctorates Nushaba Guliyeva and Head of the International Relations Department Bakhtiyar Badalov met with Deputy Secretary General of the European University Association (EUA) Monica Steinel. The meeting took place at the Royal University of Technology in Sweden, where the next trainings of the "Establishment of Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" (ECAR) Erasmus + project were held. The prospects and directions for future cooperation between the University of Azerbaijan and the sociation were discussed at the meeting.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan University was accepted as a full member of the association in 2021. Its main mission is to sustainably develop and strengthen the system of higher education and research in Europe; Azerbaijan is represented by only 3 universities in the association, which unites about 1,000 universities from about 50 European countries and aims to improve the quality of teaching, learning, research and public service by supporting and guiding its members.
