An educational session dedicated to the 4th “Maarifchi” student-graduate internship program, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Education, was held at Azerbaijan University. During the event, students were informed about the opportunities offered by the program, the essence and significance of the project, and the participation requirements.

The session featured presentations by Kamran Rzayev, Director of the Career Development Department, and Samir Salayev, Head of the Lifelong Education Support: Training and Education Center. The speakers noted that this year the program is being conducted under the motto “Digital Future” and will last for four months. It was emphasized that final-year undergraduate students, graduate students, as well as graduates from the past three years who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are eligible to apply for participation in the program, which provides participants with the opportunity to reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired at University through practical experience. Individuals selected for the program will have the opportunity to undertake internships in various structural divisions of the Ministry of Science and Education, its subordinate institutions, as well as regional education departments. Applications for participation in the program opened on March 11 and will continue until March 30.

The session continued with a Q&A segment addressing issues of interest to students.

It should be noted that a total of 102 individuals have graduated from the “Maarifchi” student internship program, 50 of whom have been employed in various structural divisions within the field of education.
