A large delegation led by the Rector of Azerbaijan University, PhD in Philology Saadat Aliyeva, participated in the “Study in Azerbaijan” educational exhibition held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on April 7-8. Visitors to the exhibition showed significant interest in the University’s stand.

The Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, and the Vice Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Yeshenkulov, visited the exhibition and also stopped by the Azerbaijan University stand. Rector Saadat Aliyeva provided detailed information to Talgat Yeshenkulov about the higher education institution she leads, noting that the exhibition creates new opportunities for cooperation.

Visitors to the stand were provided with comprehensive information about admission procedures, academic programs, language preparation, academic and social opportunities for international students, exchange and double degree programs, as well as student life. Questions from visitors were also answered in detail.

A quiz was organized at the stand for 11th-grade students. Those who correctly answered questions on the history of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were offered tuition discounts upon admission to Azerbaijan University. Winners also received gifts and souvenirs decorated with national ornaments. The stand was also visited by representatives of various universities and educational institutions operating in Kazakhstan, with whom the University established initial contacts for future cooperation.

The exhibition is ongoing and will conclude today at 17:00.

It should be noted that the exhibition, jointly organized by the Ministries of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, is being held at the Farabi Hub Innovation Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The aim of the exhibition is to expand educational cooperation between the two countries and to inform prospective students, undergraduates, and young professionals about educational opportunities in Azerbaijan. Around 30 leading universities from Azerbaijan are participating in the exhibition.
