I am Dilara Fatullayeva, a third-year student of Azerbaijan University majoring in Social Work. In the 2022/2023 academic year, I had the opportunity to study for 1 semester at the University of Timisoara in Romania (The West University of Timisoara) under the Erasmus+ program. Classes have been going on for some time, and I will soon return to my homeland. I have a lot to tell my family members, lecturers, classmates. 

I think that being an exchange student not only allows you to face a different educational system, but also to get to know different worldviews, different cultures and lifestyles. This is the biggest advantage of joining the Erasmus+ program. This is an incredible opportunity and chance to communicate with representatives of different countries, peoples with different traditions and customs, discover their culture and tell them about Azerbaijan. I try to make full use of the chance given to me, and I believe that this experience will add a lot to me as a Social worker. 

Increasing self-confidence, learning a second foreign language along with improving my English, meeting new people and creating new friendships, discovering new cultures and, most importantly, getting a great experience for my СМ – all this I briefly call “to explore a new world”. I invite all students who want to ” to explore a new world “ to join the Erasmus+ program and thank my university for the opportunities it creates for its students.
