The Young Economists Club began its activities in the spring semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The Club, operating under the Faculty of Business and Economics, is headed by Nazrin Mammadzada, a third-year student majoring in Marketing (English-medium education).
Students of Azerbaijan University may become members of the Club by applying to the dean`s office or directly contacting the Club chairperson.
The Young Economists Club is an intellectual organization that unites students interested in economics, engaged in research, critical thinking, and professional development. The main goal of the Club is to cultivate economic thinking among young people, enrich their theoretical knowledge with real-life examples, and prepare future professional economists.
Students who are members of the Club participate in seminars, simulations and debates on various current economic topics, training sessions and discussions, as well as meetings with experts. The Young Economists Club also serves as an environment that strengthens students analytical thinking, supports their academic and personal development, and highlights their leadership qualities and teamwork skills.
The Young Economists Club is not just a student club, but a powerful intellectual center shaping the economists of the future.
